New Student Guide

Starting at MCC

For students new to Mabalacat City College, written by the Supreme Student Council. Where it says how the College does something, it names where that was read.

What the portal can already do for you. Alab, the assistant in the corner of every page, answers questions from the same pages.

Class PlannerType in your classes once, see your week laid out, and save it as an image or to your phone’s calendar.
Campus MapSearch for a room, an office or a facility on the main campus and see which building and floor it is on.
Crimson MeridianThe campus calendar. Each College date names where it was read, and you can add the whole calendar to your phone.
AnnouncementsNotices from the councils, with the College’s own notices labelled separately so you can tell them apart.
Councils and organizationsYour student councils, and the clubs and groups students run at MCC, with how to join each one.
Campus weatherThe forecast for the main campus, hour by hour, so you know whether to bring an umbrella.

The council is still writing the rest of this guide

Enrolment, your first week, classes and grades, and where to go for help will appear here as the council publishes them, each College procedure with the place it was read. Until then, the College’s own offices are the place to ask. Something you wish you had known when you started? Tell the council.

What this guide is

It is written by the Supreme Student Council for students who are new to the College. Advice in the council’s own name says so. Where an entry says how the College does something, it names where that was read and when somebody last checked it, and the College’s offices have the final word: where they differ from this page, they are right and the page is wrong.
